Overview
PU40300 is a single component sprayable moisture-curing urethane adhesive. It has been developed for fast spray applications in the foam and textile bonding industry. The adhesive gives excellent bonds to PU foam, scrim, and fabrics.
Developed primarily for fabric and foam insulation (e.g., domestic scouring pads and building insulation materials), with good wash resistance and low viscosity to give a consistent spray pattern.
Its ease of spreading, high solids content, and one-way stick characteristics ensure fast, low-cost coverage. The PU40300 series is available in a wide range of working times and can be customised to individual customer requirements.

How to use
- Substrate Preparation
Materials to be bonded must be free from surface contamination, dust, grease, etc.
- Application
The recommended application is via airless spray although conventional air spray systems may be used, providing that conditions are carefully monitored.
- Pressing
Sufficient even pressure must be applied to keep the components in intimate contact until tack has built up. The pressure required will depend upon the nature of the substrates.
- Cleaning
At the end of the application run, it is essential that glue lines and spray heads are thoroughly cleaned. This is best achieved by flushing the lines and heads with solvent.
