Overview
SabreFix PU is an advanced single-component polyurethane-based construction adhesive. This powerful transparent adhesive is developed especially for the construction industry and will bond most types of construction materials including timber (damp and dry), concrete, brick, metals, plasterboard, MDF, particleboard, fibreglass, polystyrene, timber floor cassettes, and many other porous and non-porous substrates.
SabreFix PU is highly chemical resistant and waterproof to DIN EN 204: D4 making it suitable for both exterior and interior applications. It also features a foaming penetration action which makes it ideal for bonding uneven or porous substrates as it will expand to fill surface cavities.
Available in:
310ml cartridge

How to Use
- Application Temperature
+5°C until +35°C
- Substrate Preparation
Ensure substrates are clean, dry and free of dust and grease.
- Application
It is essential that at least one of the components to be bonded is porous and contains moisture. Non-porous materials should be slightly abraded. Components must be bonded together within 10 mins of application. Slight moistening of substrates increases curing rate and gap filling characteristics as the adhesive foams up to penetrate the bond cavity.
- Pressing
Press or clamp the parts/joints together for at least 30-60mins to ensure final bond strength. Components may be moved 1 hour after bonding.

FAQs
Can SabreFix PU be use on damp surfaces?
Yes, this will actually increase the speed of cure because the adhesive cures by exposure to moisture. If the moisture content exceeds 30%, then materials must be dried prior to bonding.
What is the cure time?
Cure time is dependent on ambient temperature and humidity as well as substrate moisture content. Typically, 30-minute clamp time is sufficient at 20°C.
Is SabreFix PU waterproof?
Yes, it is waterproof D4 rated, and complies with the D4 standard, DIN 68602.
Does SabreFix PU foam after being applied?
Yes, it features a foaming penetration action which makes it ideal for bonding uneven or porous substrates as it will expand to fill surface cavities.
